BOOKS

Under the name Carolin Elizabeth Talbot, I wrote and self-published the two novels Cloudfänger - Für immer jetzt and Wir drehen uns noch auf der Welt und versuchen im Schauer zu tanzen.

I would like to thank everyone who supported me on this creative journey and helped me in any way they could. It has been a challenging and inspiring process that has brought me many new insights and new friendships.

I still keep the stories in my heart, especially around Amelia and her green pink living team, Blake, Cara and her son Charlie. I am sure their stories have not been told out yet. But for now, it is time for me to begin a new chapter.

Thank you so much for all your support and encouragement!

The impulsive Cara is desperately looking for a job to keep herself and her four-year-old son Charlie afloat. She got the chance when she applied to the charming founder of the start-up green pink living Amelia. The German founded the popular e-commerce for sustainable furniture a few years ago in England and celebrated rapid success with it. For Amelia her employees are like family and she lives the life in London that she has always dreamed of and worked hard for - from ambitious projects to awards and charity balls.

Cara's flatmate and writer Blake, on the other hand, has always been overshadowed by his father, a famous screenwriter. When Blake and Amelia's paths cross, it is immediately something very special for both of them what connects them. But Blake has his very own vision for British society. In order to be able to achieve this, he publicly speaks out in favor of his home country leaving the EU. This causes explosive in Blake's environment and endangers the burgeoning feelings between him and Amelia. Because for Amelia it seems impossible to enter into a relationship with someone who is against her values and her green pink living family. But not only are their emotional worlds wavering, the upcoming referendum is also causing changes and forcing them to make fateful decisions ...

readers' reviews

"The writing style is exactly my case - pictorial and there is a nice flow of reading that lets the pages fly by."

“Cloud catcher” really hit a nerve in me. For me, this book is very much about hope, dreams and inspiration. It actually inspired me to take up projects that I had already shelved and still try my luck. It rekindled my courage and my euphoria! "

"A wonderful novel about love and life with likeable characters with rough edges, in which you can immerse yourself for a few hours."- Ellysetta Rain -

“I think it's great that this book deals with a current topic and that you think more deeply about it. Furthermore, a complex situation is shown here, which, however, is pleasant to read due to the writing style. The author has managed to package a current topic in such a way that everyone can understand the feelings of the protagonists. I'm curious whether there will be a sequel. "
